Mr John Howell the UK Prime Minister’s trade envoy to Nigeria visited Abuja Technology Village on 27th February 2017 as part of a two-day official visit to Nigeria to explore trade investment opportunities for the UK government. Accompanying Mr Howell on the visit were members of the UK Department for International Trade and officials of the UK embassy. The Managing Director of ATVFZC Hauwa Yabani led the management team on engaging with the delegation where she talked about various developments covering context and content projects including the vision of the science and technology park, infrastructure development; investment opportunities available to investors; the enspire incubator and the ATV Foundation. She emphasised the single window policy for service delivery to clients as part of the ease of doing business at the STP.
The progress of the ATV roadmap was also shared with the delegation during the interactive session before proceeding on a tour of the ATV site. Mr Howell expressed his appreciation to the Managing Director for the engagement with possible areas of collaboration and support.
