Abuja Technology Village is a Special Economic Zone governed according to the guidelines contained in the Federal Government of Nigeria Official Gazette titled Abuja Technology Village Free Zone Regulations, 2012.
The activities approved for the Zone include Building and Construction, Research and Development, Light Manufacturing of Technology Goods for Export, Sales of Technology Goods, Consulting Services, Marketing/Exhibitions/Publicity related to Approved Activities, Capacity Development, Financial Services and International Commercial Arbitration Services.

**Expression of Interest**
Applications for undertaking approved activities in Abuja Technology Village are to be made by interested parties via a soon-to-be-launched online Business Portal. In the meantime, enquiries on areas of interest may be sent through eoi@atv.com.ng following which a questionnaire will be issued to suitable applicants to assess details of their expressions of interest.

**Establishment of Free Zone Enterprise**
Companies accepted to undertake Approved Activities must establish Free Zone Enterprises following laid down procedures. The procedures are contained in the Regulations, 2012 and supporting Welcome Pack which contains other information and application forms.

Among the requirements for establishing Free Zone Enterprises are:
- Certificate of Incorporation (If business already exists)
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Management Authorization or copies of Boards  Resolution of the Applicant Companies
- Evidence of payments for Registration, Licensing, etc to be made in favor of ATV
- Passport Photographs, Specimen Signatures and copies of Bio-data Pages from International Passports of Key Personnel

Business Plan comprising:
- Descriptions of Projects/Businesses
- Market Surveys
- Funding Proposals
- Five-Year Financial Projections
- Feasibility Studies (where applicable)
- Environmental Impact Statements
- Comprehensive information contained in the Application Pack to be issued to companies found suitable to register as Free Zone Enterprises

**Licence**
Free Zone Enterprises can only commence operations after being issued applicable Licences by ATV.

**Schedule of Fees**
Licensed Free Zone Enterprises are issued a schedule by ATV indicating the fees for all services to be rendered to them.

**Procedure and Operational Guidelines**
Licensed Free Zone Enterprises must adhere to all regulations governing operations in Abuja Technology Village.
